stupid H1N1. now at www.channelnewsasia.com/singapore, there's this poll set up to see how schools should cope with the H1N1 outbreak, and majority of the students voted for "Extend school holidays". i have to admit i was one of the 4% who voted to return to school at the normal date. but well, i have vested interests. the most important thing would be that if hols are extended, blocks will definitely clash with my birthday.WHICH IS ON THE 11TH OF JULY PLS TAKE NOTE THANK YOU!yeah. and it's not fun when you've already booked the bbq pit, invited friends and all that. even less fun when you have to mug during your birthday for some stupid test/exam.anyway, as i said yesterday, i am down with flu. thankfully not H1N1, but i am down with flu. i was at the doctor yesterday, gave my name to the person at the counter. wrote it down quite clearly as "Ong Yang En Bryan". but it's damn funny, about 5 minutes later the person called me and asked "boy ah! is this your father ah?" i looked at the paper. Surname was Chia.PLEASE LAH! even primary school kid can connect the dots and know that person is not my father! i bloody gave her my surname as "Ong" and she asked me if my father's surname was "Chia".seriously. she epic phail
