i have just made my parents $260 poorer. new bowling ball. yep. an Ebonite Playmaker. yes i know Sufen, you said don't buy Ebonite but seriously, the Hammer balls at demo day seriously sucked big time.
so yes. 260 bucks for a bowling ball. and you know, there's just all these little things in life that we really have to thank God for. i mean, you're probably thinking of what a bowling ball has to do with thanking God?
i have a single ball bag. and it already had a ball inside. so i was just really wondering how i was gonna carry the second ball home. and you know at demo day, we actually have to sign up first cause they had this lucky draw thing. so they were giving away, yes, a bowling bag. and some people might call it luck, but my name was drawn from the box containing all the names. at least 50 names inside. and my name was picked, and i got the bowling bag. free of charge.
and that was how i brought my new bowling ball back.
some people actually view this and think to themselves that i'm just plain lucky. i got the bag cause i was lucky. that's all. but really, it's no coincidence that i needed a bag, and i won it somehow. i view it as God's provision. He saw that i needed something and He provided it in His own way and timing. and i didn't even ask Him for it. He just gave it to me.
and thru this it once again demonstrates the goodness of God and how He provides for the needs of all His people.
