I have just heard of the most amazing thing that anyone could ever possibly dream or imagine and i totally want to go. and i am announcing it nowww!
SINGfest 2008!
ok basically it's on the 2nd and 3rd of October at Fort Canning Park featuring bands like Travis, Melee, Lostprophets, Jamie Scott, Jason Mraz, One Republic, and YES PANIC AT THE DISCOOOOOO!
and yeah. basically i so want to go.
unfortunately, the ticket prices are 150 bucks for 2nd August, and 200 bucks for 3rd August. Alternatively there is the 300 bucks for both days.
now i would actually pay that money to go if Red Hot Chili Peppers were coming, and to a lesser extent Dream Theater. unfortunately neither are coming.
but fortunately, my birthday is coming up, and i know a lot of people do not know what to get for me on my birthday. i remember last year or something that SINGfest was for 18 year olds only. i can't find this statement on their website this year. so barring any unforseen circumstances, i could actually enter Fort Canning Park for a good day or two of MUSIC.
that is of course if anyone would kindly fork out 300 bucks for me to go.
