well i could say that the first day in school was eventful. to say the least.
well actually it wasn't eventful. more like eventless.
history test totally killed me. it's the usual "look at question and stare for 10 minutes screaming WTFBBQ" kind of essay. yep. was totally unprepared. the sage told us Korean war would be tested so i spent 3 whole days covering the whole topic. trust me, it's a big topic. but nooooooo. the sage, aka Mr Quek, was totally wrong. no Korean War. the first thing i did when i saw the question was to scream out "SHIT!". well of course not literally scream out, more like a silent scream. wait. how can a scream be silent? that's a great big oxymoron. anyhow, yes i was terrified! never in my life have i seen such an impeccable question that has such a capability of instilling such profound fear in a person's heart, causing any sane person, yes even a saint, to scream out in pure terror!
ok i exaggerate. the question was not that hard. it was just, well... ok it was that hard.
but hey! i won't be alone! probably half the LT would fail along with me. damn i just got reminded about the message on not lying to yourself. that's one moral demerit point for the chinese dude. ouch.
but anyway, may not be that bad. i may get a C. hopefully a B.
on a lighter note, i can safely say that i have reached a new pinnacle in lecture etiquette. for two consecutive lessons, i forgot to bring my notes. fortunately, it was for no good lectures, namely chem and econs, which basically, i hate. but then again what subject do i love besides history? doesn't mean i have to hate the rest anyway. but then.... uhhh... ok nevermind. forget it
and of course the much awaited lesson! GP IN PHYSICS LAB! that was exciting. "Class, today we shall go through the compre. Before that, let's watch a pendulum oscillate". it was fun. i loved GP in lab. now we can have a whole package! GP lectures, GP tutorials and GP lab lessons! experiments for GP! or better still, experiments for History! "Lets see how the gas chambers killed the Jews in the Holocaust! I have here a replica of the exact chamber the Jews went into. now who will be my first volunteer?"
how exciting.
well tomorrow would be better. let's see what we have... hmmm. swimming. ahh yes. another opportunity for me to put my crapping skills to good use so what i learnt in HP will not go to waste. "Ouch. Cher. Back pain lah. yesterday i fell on a toothpick." or maybe the Iris excuse! "Cher, crack my tailbone siah." ahh what a way to start the day.
i am sooooooo NOT looking forward to tomorrow. i'm running out of excuses to skip PE.
