i have not done a decent post about my trip in Mongolia. what i would say is that the details of the trip are unimportant. what i have learnt is more important.
the details of the trip as from gyx's blog
Day 1: Airport & Flight
Day 2 : Flight, Travelling, Setting up of Gers, Ice-Breakers
Day 3: Learning to make firewood & collect water, abseiling
Day 4: Orienteering, Rock-climbing
Day 5: Team-building games, Packing for expedition
Day 6: 23km "death" trek
Day 7: Painting windows of school, Mongolian cultural performance & interaction
Day 8: Painting doors of school, 13km trek
Day 9: Visit to herder's family, 3.5km trek, LIFErun activity
Day 10: Packing, departure for city, sightseeing, cultural performances, pool&billiards, hotel stay
Day 11: =(
that's all.
but the whole journey is more of reflections. you don't really have much time to sit and just reflect and think in Singapore, and the camp really let me just sit and reflect on the various events of my life, what i have gone through and it was really a time for me to think about a lot of stuff.
guess i will not reveal what i thought about, but it was a fulfilling trip nonetheless. i would hope to return back to Mongolia but i know i probably won't have the chance to.
yeah. guess i'm back. haha.
