ok. in about 2 days time, something big is going on. aside from the bbq at my house that is.
GST HIKE!
goodness. at this rate, for all you know by 2020 it could be a 12% GST charge. anyway, yes, on the 1st of July, there will be this dreaded GST hike from 5 - 7%. so i suggest all people go out tomorrow and buy stuff. and at that, buy expensive stuff that you need. don't go out and buy a laptop that you need on the 1st of July. that's stupid.
for example, let the cost of the laptop = $2000. after GST hike, you pay and extra 2% as compared to before the hike. that's $40. if you buy it tomorrow, you save that 40 bucks, which you can use to buy a book or something. but after the GST hike, you're gonna pay that 40 bucks that you shouldn't even be paying.
so for people who need to buy stuff, buy it tomorrow.
then again, it's a little too late to tell y'all now.
