what's wrong with British stuff
we look at companies in Britain. Rover. close down. Jaguar (which i think is in Britain), close down. Aston Martin. going to be sold to some other guy cause the company isn't doing well.
so what's wrong? management.
then we look at movies. apart from the James Bond logo, Mr Bean, and a few other good shows like the Queen, British movies really suck. all the good movies all come from Hollywood. i even find I Not Stupid better than some British movies.
what's wrong? this i don't know.
then English. Britain supposedly invented this language. well in fact they did. yet they can't speak it well. the show My Fair Lady criticised the British English, that despite the fact that they invented the language, they can't speak it well.
why? they take for granted that they invented the language.
so what's wrong with British? i don't know. i find the British quite cool in fact. don't know why the world thinks they aren't good.
i came across this quote awhile ago. this is a part of the quote.

sometimes it is hard isn't it. but I'm going to look at it in a different light.
the person with the most love for anyone is God. it is evident in that He sent His Son to die on the Cross. yet we hurt Him time and time and time and time and time again.
but wait. He still loves us. He loves us with all of His heart. despite our failures. despite our impurities. despite the fact that we are insignificant, and that He doesn't need us for Him to live. the fact is that we are nothing. the fact is that like a parent, He has been hurt repeatedly by us, His children. we disobey. we stray like lost sheep.
but yet He still loves us. He loves us as though He has not been hurt before.
what amazing, unconditional love.
and i just want to thank Him for this love.
this love that transcends all boundaries. a love that remains the same from everlasting to everlasting. a love for us that carries on as though it has never been hurt before.
