what is their problem man?! this is a bloody school holiday for goodness sake. this is not some "spam students with mountainous piles of homework and projects" week. for your information, "school holiday" is a term that means students should be given a time to rest and take a break from the pressures in life and school. since when has "holiday" meant "time to catch up with work and to make full use of all the time you have". and the definition they have of "making full use of all the time we have" means read good books, memorise the dictionary, read textbooks, write essays and shit like that.
but this is life. get used to it. haha.
hmm. let's see. ever saw someone from afar and thought to yourself: "w00ts", then you go nearer to that certain individual and you suddenly wish that you had not even approached that person? who hasn't. tell me so we can all feel happy for you. well, you poor fools (which unfortunately includes yours truly), i have a solution for you.
GET SOME BLOODY BINOCULARS
ah that was random. but seriously, if you do experience that, i feel sorry for you. my heart goes out to you. it must have been utterly traumatic. let's observe 30 seconds of silence for those poor fools people
A Life Lesson by Yours Truly
in life you cannot get anything you want. life is not a smooth ride. it is not the Orient Express. even the Orient Express has it's dangers. such as a hitman seen in 007: From Russia With Love. indeed, life is dangerous, and you will not get cranberry juice in a bikers bar. if you do try, prepare to get thrown out by some bouncer for being an utter wuss.
so in life, since you cannot get whatever you want, i will suggest that since many of us are pretty privileged, we should help the less privileged. we can start from those around us. a lot of people are less privileged. start from your friends. i have a long wishlist and am definitely less privileged. you know what to do.
of course, we can donate food to those who need it. if you see a poor, homeless guy on the streets, don't just give him a dollar. in our world now, a dollar can't do much. even in hawker centers, people sell tissue papers for more than a dollar. give him more. and don't just give him $10. bring him to a nearby food court and buy him some bak chor mee. and please buy him the tissue papers for $1. though it is a total rip off (the tissue paper that is), you will feel happy that you have provided for them.
we can see that many in this world need our help. together, if everyone has love for one another, just like the purple dinosaur on TV, i am sure that the world will become a happy place for everyone.
