you know i have two tests tomorrow, so i am so sorry Jon, i cannot go for your farewell party. the YF will miss you.

you know, today as we were singing, this song really struck me. i mean, every single time this song is played/sung, i really just, well. no words to describe. i just felt, once again, that i had to recommit my life back to God.
as we all leave the church on Sunday, and return back to the secular world, i guess many of us don't continue with what we do in church. we sin. i sin. and the song went: "how many times have i broken Your heart, but still You forgive, if only i ask.", and "all for love the heavens cried, for love was crucified".
the song really struck me that Jesus died for our sins. and He died out of love for us. not with any terms and conditions. out of pure love. to forgive us of our sins. blood was shed on calvary so we would live, so we can be with Him the day He returns. such unconditional love. love for His people.
sometimes i feel we take this love for granted. no, not sometimes. almost all of the time. we play games with God don't we? sin, and confess, and sin again. i'm sure it pains our Father that we do this. and this song reminded me once again of my sin, and that Jesus gave His all to us. He gave His life, on the cross at calvary, to forgive us of our sins. and yet here we are, being a "Sunday Christian" and living a sinful life.
so Lord forgive me. forgive me for my sins. that's all i ask of You Lord. and thank You for dying on the cross for us. Lord thank You.
